j.sky and decay began working together 4 years ago, met in a doomed project. over the years, the ran into each other several times, meeting in various projects. in between, they would get together and jam, decay on guitar, j on bass. early this year, they wound up in a project...a hardcore band, while not what they wanted to do they stuck with it for a bit.
after that went under, they did not do anything for several months. one day, j.sky received a phone call, decay had started a new project. he was teaching his cousin, death, how to play bass. decay wanted j. to come aboard as the vocalist, and initially synthetics and programming.
after about a week or two of jamming, decay had invited two guys to join the band, one on guitar and one on drums. ping-ping was the drummer, and he was an instant fit with what we were doing, as well as drummer, he can also play guitar. so, his potential in this project is huge...especially later down the road. the guitarist, unfortunately, did not work out.
we have recorded 5 rough versions of songs we have been working with, and intend on recording a few more soon. to see where we're heading at the least, and since all four of us have many overlapping influences to go with our own tastes, we should be all over the place. depending on how the next round of writing goes, we may be heading into the studio as early as this fall and get our debut knocked out. this is just the beginning for us, and as death said, only hell can stop us now.
