Nord (le premier album de YONL) constitue le plus parfait des alliages entre post-rock et post-hardcore, sorte de synthèse entre la tension de l'un avec la force de l'autre. Sans s'octroyer la moindre minute de répit, Year Of No Light démontre qu'au niveau de la puissance développée, le groupe n'a pas grand chose à envier à certains grands noms appartenant au milieu du hardcore. Avec ses riffs lourds, incisifs et sombres, le quintette réussit son coup : faire apparaître son post-hardcore d'une noirceur abyssale et inquiétante. Source : www. xsilence. net
