Dying Regret is a San Diego Based metal band formed in 2005. They were influenced by the current trend in metal led by such bands as Killswitch Engage and As I Lay Dying. After recording their debut EP “ The Price of Human Ruin” with producer Fred Archembault ( Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, 18 Visions) they set out build their local and regional fanbase.
After 61 shows in the Southern California area and throughout the southwest, Dying Regret has established themselves as a prominent force in the unsigned metal world. They have opened for Bleed the Sky, Straight Line Stitch, Within Chaos, and Flotsam and Jetsam, and have toured throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas. To further develop their following, Dying Regret has had regular airplay on many internet and commercial radio stations, including San Diego's Rock 105.3, San Bernardino’s X103.9, KUPD in Phoenix, and Austin's KROX. Garageband.com has their song “Reason to Live” ranked as the 2 all time placing metal song of over 2,900 songs.
