| General | Paul Talbot is is a Midlands based artist, designer and creative, producing both public and private work, in print and on screen.
Paul has won a few design awards, "but nothing worth braggin’ about". He has also been nominated for a Grammy and produced a number 1 hit single, all before he was 25 (a fact he likes to drop into conversation whenever he can!)
He has never written a best-selling book. But intends to…
He is a professional designer and creative thinker, and spends his time working with clients, playing his guitar, getting "beaten down" in Halo by his son Gage and “coloring in” with his daughter Beth.
Self-Actualization
Abraham Maslow’s primary contribution to psychology is his Hierarchy of Needs. Maslow postulated that needs are arranged in a hierarchy in terms of their potency. Although all needs are instinctive, some are more powerful than others. Self-actualization sits at the apex of Maslow’s pyramid. Inherently human, and the weakest, but, in my opinion, the most rewarding of all our needs. DYK is a part of my ‘journey of joined-up-thinking’ towards self-actualization, by simply doing great work that both engages and communicates…
Maslow also said "when the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail".
