About me:
June 13th, 2009 marks the date for the 16th Annual LA Dyke* March. Bring your whistles, your pots and pans, drums, horns and chants and join us after Dyke Day L.A. We're especially reaching out to queer: communities of color, immigrants, the undocumented, and first nations people.Dyke = all folks identifying as queer, lesbian, dyke, bisexual, trans*, queer, intersex, two-spirit, womyn-loving-women, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, and allies.
Updated: 5:30pm - Gather at Barnsdall Park (4800 Hollywood Blvd 90027 - just WEST of Vermont Ave at N. Berendo St.)
6:00pm - Take to the streets, make some noise, have some fun and march!

I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there is a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There is also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
