  New Year’s Reflections

looking back on the months gone by,
as a new year starts and an old one ends,
we contemplate what brought us joy,
and we think of our loved ones and our friends.

Recalling all the happy times,
remembering how they enriched our lives,
we reflect upon who really counts,
as the fresh and bright New Year arrives.

And when I ponder those who do,
I immediately think of you.

   I hope this Christmas enriches your life; May each day be happy and bright, May your Christmas be filled with delight. Thank you for being my friend.

 The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship. Thanks for being my friend Dylan. 

 Once in a while, an unknown someone with a simple desire, coupled with a big talent went on to carry out some simple acts, which rolled out a chain of successive events that culminated into an incredible shot-at-stardom.  That is you, and I see a great star in you and I am honored to be your friend.
