For those who aren't sure I'm me, I went to Van Nuys Presbyterian preschool, Sherman Oaks Elementary, Vena Elementary, Sepulveda Middle School, North Hollywood High, and now CSU Long Beach. I do the drum things. My resume = 1 year beginning band, 2 years advanced band, 2 semesters of teacher's assistant to a band and an orchestra, Music Superstar Award for band, 4 years marching/concert band (plus the added break semesters), 2 years jazz band, 3 years orchestra volunteer percussionist, 2 years Colburn school of music, UCLA summer music academy, 2 semesters of music tech, Most Outstanding Freshman (band), Most Outstanding Sophomore (band), Most Outstanding Junior (Band), Most Outstanding Musician *Senior* (Band), 2 Heart and Soul awards, $300 PTA music scholarship, private lessons with an extra LA Phil percussionist, music librarian, assistant drum major, squad leader, drumline section leader, pit section leader, drumline/pit music arranger for field show, paid drum instructor for 3 years, Science Olympiad Sound of Music judge, 1.5 years of Concert Band, 2.5 years of Steel Drum Orchestra, 1 year of World Percussion Group, 2.5 years of Percussion Ensemble, 2.5 years of private lessons with Randy Drake, Brad Dutz, and Michael Carney, pit player/arranger for En Garde drum corps, and percussionist in the musical Songs From an Unmade Bed. *Deep breath*
