i read 'the last time i wore a dress' a couple of years ago. we went through similar childhoods. it pretty near changed my life (your book). i'm an ftm, too. although i didn't know you were at the time i finished the book. i admire you for everything you've accomplished. your art radiates emotion. even through my computer screen. you're one bad ass mother fucker. <3

I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this.

I'm playing at Hi-Dive on Wed Jan 21st with a San Diego band called The Donkeys.
I am from San Diego so I have seen their badness in action. They also double as being Casiotone For The Painfully Alone's band. The Build Up is playing too. They are a new Denver indie rock band to be pumped about. Also, my new backing band rules! I haven't played a Denver show in ages, so I want to make this a big deal. I'll be unveiling new shirts, buttons, and stickers.
