Dylan Thomas' SonicBids EPK
Born in a small fishing town in Northern BC, Canada, Dylan's first homes were a boat and a hotel. His father a musician and mother a writer, Dylan was born into a life of expression and travel. At the age of 16 he moved to Vancouver, BC and by 17 he was playing local bars and dives on the downtown East side. His formative years were mainly spent playing punk rock but he always had an ear for melody and an appreciation for a good pop song.
In 2004 he began writing material for his first official solo release. It was soon evident he had a knack for writing songs that would appeal to a wide audience. Over the years he has honed his songwriting craft and continues to impress his peers and critics alike.
Since 2005 he's released four albums, toured Western Canada numerous times, toured Eastern Canada twice, played several high profile folk festivals as well as opening slots for Corb Lund and side stage for Tom Petty to name a couple. Dylan's most recent release shifts between full on rockers to mournful acoustic ballads with the help of his friends - a who's who of Vancouver talent.
In October 2010 Dylan moved/toured from Vancouver to Toronto where he currently resides and is working on material for the next record. He sees Toronto as a great place for his music and will be able to tour much more easily and more frequently from the East. As of February 2011 Dylan Thomas is performing solo but can also put a band together with little notice. The ability to perform and tour with different members and lineups allows Dylan to follow his own path and keep moving forward.

Steve Keys Moving? Out East? I'm? Like moving as in just travelling, or actually packing up and living east?
There are places to play in Winkler, but it depends on what kind of show you're looking for. Are you on the Facebook at all? More consistently than myspace? as a regular human being (as in non music)? Because if so, with your permission I will search for you there and add you, so we could speak with less gaps between responses. I rarely check this place anymore. Let me know.

Julia Kreutz Just got that. Totally thought you didn't want to play. But that's rad that you do. We made the posters without you on them...but you can be a special guest and we will add you back to the facebook page. Add The Gam on facebook and go under events to invite your people. Get back to me with a for sure!

Stoked you're playing the Dead Flowers festival! That's rad!
Mr. Thomas, like many foolish souls, I rarely come out to the Myspaces anymore. However when I do it's always because your page calls to me, and I always find new songs added to enjoy. Your newest ones on here are really great, especially "King of Disbelief" and "For Christ's Sake(It's Christmas).
