The DYNOTONES, hailing from Orange County, California, are a four piece instrumental surf/hot rod combo consisting of: Dano Nichols (guitar), Dan Moses (guitar), Rob Kruse (bass Guitar), and Tim Fitzpatrick (drums).
Influences of the band include: The Lively Ones, Link Wray, The Astronauts, The Bobby Fuller Four, The Pyramids, and The Ventures. The DYNOTONES have been playing their brand of instrumental rock-n-roll since the spring of 1995.
The band was reformed with new members Dan Moses and Rob Kruse in June of 1998. Tim Fitzpatrick has been performing and recording with The DYNOTONES since April 2003 to present.
Known for their high energy performances, The DYNOTONES have shared stages with the likes of: The Chantays, Los Straitjackets, The Bomboras, The Ghastly Ones, Junior Brown, Deke Dickerson, Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Dick Dale, and The Tiki Tones.
Playing small clubs to outdoor events, The DYNOTONES have perfected the nostalgic sounds of the past and developed a style that has earned them a place among todays most successful instrumental groups, as well as complementing those of the past.
