I went to bed at 8pm last night. Everytime I go to sleep at a time before 5 or 6am, I wake up EVERY 20 or 30 minutes, in cold anxiety fits :( Still though, I slept until now because I just don't want to wake up.

Well, I took the synth I used from the original Nowhere - I tweaked it a bit first, but then I used a slight filter sweep and fed it through some digital distortion. Digital distortion is really cool compared to traditional harmonic analog, because instead of using a bunch of sine waves (curvy, usually symmetrical waveforms) to create harmonics like most other distortion algorithms, it uses a digital waveform - which is basically just on/off - thereby creating a seriously messed up random sounding pattern amongst the host sound.
When you apply digital distortion on its own to the entire source audio, it sounds cool for a split second - and then just sounds like noise to your ears. However, when you take the rate that the waveform is being multiplied by (the ons and offs) and alter that steadily sweeping through a different oscillation frequency, you get a really cool alternating pattern of digital distortion.
Sooo I totally just quit my job today, and I don't have another one yet.
