Biography:

The history of Dystera began in the year 2006 when Dominik Geneto started the project. The target to achieve was to arrange an epic / symphonic power metal band, he started to find suitable artists.

The idea (concept) based on bringing measure and harmonic elements with a female voice in combination with a flute, which both should take an important part in this story. In november of 2007 Dystera developed a place on the swiss sampler “Heavy Metal Nation IV”. This was an incitation for the whole band and the project to start in April 08 with the studio-recording for the album “Journey into the shades”. The album was released on 03/24/09 and is already available, of course !

After this challenging and interesting time, a recovery for the band began. Conflicts inside the band were disturbing the harmony, so some of the members left the band. But this shouldn’t be the end of the story, the two brave companions Melanie and Dominik decided to continue the journey and to find some new musician.

After the closing operations in the BWS sound studio and the album-mastering in Helsinki, Dominik was looking for new and suitable members for the band. And them were found ! Fabio di Miceli (drums) from Italy and Angelo Salerno (bass) from Germany are the new companions of Dystera !

With new musically power and creativity, Dystera has a lot of plans for the coming year 2010. Concerts in Europe are already planed and with some more big highlights. They..re looking together towards in a future with a lot of concerts.

As there is a lot of potential and ambition the band just can’t await to show their creativity. In front of an audience Dystera is looking for a worldwide selling company to realize all these things.
