Dystolic began as a collaborative project in mid-2007 and went on to complete a full and steady line up in 2008 and have written their debut album, which they are currently perfecting and recording, and aim to have it released in due course.
The five members have widely varying tastes in music from Hardcore to Techno, Rap to Death Metal, Punk to Industrial, Ambient to Aggro-tech and so on....
Having such diversity between members and within each of us, brings us a unique sound with ideas flowing from various points of interest into one complete finished sound.
From melodic harmonies to grinding screams and fear inspiring growls, crushing guitars and pounding drums accent some truly punishing riffs, bone crushing breakdowns, and the odd guitar solo thrown in too.
In May of 2009, Dystolic put out their first self-released demo, comprised of the tracks: 'The Fundamental Massacre', 'Surround Me In Shadows' and 'Game Over' recieving significant airplay within the South-Eastern area and gaining a thicker ever-increasing fanbase.
The demo tracks, are just a taster of what is to come next........
As a band we are all still learning ourselves, each other, and our instruments, so our sound is always evolving so keep checking in to see where we go next....
