About Dystopian Dreams [NEW SONGS UP!]

Formed in London Ontario in the summer of '06, Dystopian Dreams began as an acoustic 2 piece playing cover shows. After working on their own material, Kailen and Graham started adding original shows as well. After recording a 7 song EP entitled Nowhere Else, they decided it was time to make the move into a full band. Recruited on drums was Jon, and Mike on Bass. DD recently completed a 3 song demo showcasing the band's new alt-rock sound. With catchy vocal lines and melodic harmonies, the band feels they are able to offer something to music enthusiasts of all ages and genres.

It's not about pride and it's not obsessing or dwelling on the past. It's not about giving in or giving up. To let go is to cherish the memories, but to overcome and move on. Letting go is learning and experiencing and growing. To release is to be thankful for the experiences that made you laugh, made you cry, and made you grow. It's about all that you have, all that you had, and all that you will soon gain. Letting go is releasing and having the courage to accept change, and the strength to keep moving. It is realizing that the heart can sometimes be the most potent remedy.
