Dystrakted started with turntables in the year 1999 and hasn't stopped since.
The 19yr old with no musical background found his niche and began recording
freestyle scratch joints in 2001. In 2003 he started to work with emcees showing
his skills with the decks on vocal tracks. After establishing himself as a DJ,
Dystrakted started performing live shows at various venues/clubs in Thunder Bay,
ON and has also competed DJ battles as well as the DMC DJ Championship in 2004.
In 2005, not short of a miracle and after two major lung surgeries he has started
opening another gateway. The multifaceted turntable demon recently picked up the
microphone and started to voice what he's got to say... Dystrakted just doesn't
take no for an answer. You can refer to him as the Terry Fox of hip hop... keep
your head up for the upcoming solo release as well as other luggage.
