Dyve were founded in November 2001 by Ivan McSimon and Damiano Merazzi. In the beginning of 2002 Cris Arena and Andrea Capuzzi joined the band. They began to write original songs and in April 2002 they recorded their first mini cd, “TEARS OF RAGE”, a 3-tracks work.
In the same year they also recorded another 4-tracks mini cd and a 2-tracks mini-cd. This last work contained an original song (“Hope Again”) and the Judas Priest’s cover “Electric Eye”.
In June 2003 Dyve played at “GODS OF METAL” in Milan, on a stage prepared by a well known music equipment store. Dyve’s show was really appreciated by people of GOM.
In August 2003 Dyve entered AlphaOmega Studios (Blevio, Italy) to record their debut album, “Dust Of An Age”. They signed for Lucretia Records/Self Distribution and in February 2005 the album is out in store, receiving positives comments by press and webzines. Currently this work is available in many countries in the world and in many shop on line.
After “Dust…” Andrea Capuzzi left the band and Dyve announced the name of the new frontman who is Simone Rossini.
In August 2006 Dyve recorded the new full-length, INSIDE, with Simone Rossini on the voice. This album represents the evolution and the will to rock of the band, with a very powerful sound and very direct and melodic songs.
For this last record Dyve signed with UK Division and Andromeda - Code7 distribution all over Europe.

RAT SKATES is one of the featured guests on THE METALLICA STORY, a special airing on THE BIOGRAPHY CHANNEL beginning WEDNESDAY JUNE 3rd at 10:00 pm EST. The special will air for one week on BIO, followed by dates on A&E TELEVISION, the parent network.
