NEW BOOKS! NEW BOOKS!
David Ziggy Greene really made me laugh. A sketchy and surreal trip through zineland with some really funny moments. - Shellsuite Zombie .co.uk
Pour review -
I enjoyed these comics quite a bit, thanks mostly to Greene's appealing line. Much of his humor depends on his drawings looking funny, but he doesn't oversell it by making his line too rubbery. He's wise to keep that restraint, considering how very silly his stories are.
This mini certainly made me want to see more by this artist. - Rob Clough at Poopsheetfoundation.com
Fat Chunk Vol 1 & 2 are out now at all good bookshops!
If you haven't met Chip Buckminster yet....
... you really should. They are only one page adventures so it doesn't take much effort. Give him a go.
The most complete collection of Chip Buckminster strips is currently HERE
Cavity is a little thing I put together years ago.
(or inspirations) Chris Cunningham - Jamie Hewlett - Mark E Smith - George Orwell - Luz - Michael Haneke - Ken Dahl - Park Chan-Wook - Katsuhiro Otomo - Joseph Merrick - Luz&Steph - Wire - Mark Borchardt - Gizmo the Lemur - my dog who taught me so much about life - Aylin.
About me: I like doing stuff.
Like... making music videos for music I like, VJing, creating short comics, playing music (bass), organizing & promoting gigs, designing flyers & posters, painting, documentary making, taking pictures, annoying people, being a goalkeeper, running www.samu.co.uk, trying to remember and just doing stuff creative so it takes my mind off the rubbish in life.
I'm also editing a documentary for the uber-talented filmmaker Philipp Figaroa and Happy Endings Productions. It's called Suburban Madness and it tells the story of Rio De Janero's largest mental institute during Carnival.
