"Vannatta"!!
Canadian country group, Vannatta is well known for their original country, hillbilly swing, bluegrass music. Band leader Larry Vannatta a gifted song writer, is a two time Canadian Juno award nominee for Canadian Country group of the year. He formed the band Vannatta in 2003 and has never looked back. A four piece accomplished act, inspirited by their rural farming and ranching back grounds, Vannatta has played it all from back porch steps, barns, dance halls, main stages, to three level balcony theaters. They have shared stages with many of the best, such as Waylon Jennings, Ian Tyson, Jason McCoy, Prairie Oyster, and Marty Stuart, to name a few. With three albums, ten single releases with Hillcrest records, Vanatta’s popularity has grown worldwide. The single releases have received major airplay all over Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Their latest album just released is called "Redneck Thoroughbreds". It is all original organic compositions and was inspired by driving along the Rocky Mountains in the land of Rednecks. An entertaining group that has a great line up of events for 2009 and is already starting to book up for 2010. About me: We started out as a catalyst for uniting 1.5 million country listeners after the demise of our radio station WYNY. For months we pounded the pavement giving speeches and contacting artists for their support and to our surprise we snowballed from there! We grew in numbers,branched out to states and radio stations and enlisted some of the big names in broadcasting! Now we are taking it to MySpace in hopes to grow bigger stronger and prove once and for all Country Music is alive and well and worth listening too, And that ALL Country music artists have a place on the airwaves!!
