EAGLES UNITES WITH WITTET FOR QUIRKY JAZZ DUO: Renowned guitarist/ instructor Wayne Eagles and acclaimed drummer/music journalist T. Bruce Wittet are pleased to announce that their duo project will exit the rehearsal room and see the light of day. Prepare yourself for a stunning display of guitar and drums as Eagles and Wittet debut their jazz version of the White Stripes. The duo will recall musical influences, including, in no particular order, David Torn, Dave Holland, Jon Christensen, Terje Rypdal, Eddie Marshall, John Abercrombie, Allan Holdsworth, Jim Keltner, and Ollie Halsall. Blending ambient, avant-garde textures with more melodic contemporary jazz structures, the musicians weave a unique musical tapestry. Subtly incorporating real-time looping technology, the duo emphasizes interaction, interplay, and improvisation in the context of original compositions and unique arrangements.
