The "Real" Earl Green
The Name:
The band name Earl Green has a long story behind it so we’ll offer a brief description of how it came about. Originally the name stemmed from a long night of jamming with a hot cup of Earl Grey tea which was read by a “bleary eyed” Mat as “Earl Green”. It seemed kind of humerous at the time given the funny looking guy on the tea bag smoking a pipe, so the name sorta stuck with us. We decided to call the band “Earl Green” Since then the name “Earl Green”, represents a force beyond or alternate being. Earl Green is a made-up person who is a figment of your own imagination.

Earl Green has been rocking the Long Island/New York Music scene since it's establishment in 1999 by Mat & Dan. Earl Green is a mix of acoustic rock, hard rock/ alternative, classical and Top 40 tunes. Earl Green is 5 successful songwriters/musicians who are young veterans at their craft and live performance. Irrelevant of the style the band chooses to play, Earl green is known for their distinct signature sound, which has captivated audiences everywhere.
