Earl Jones Jr. has shared billing and stages nationwide with such gospel greats as Hezekiah Walker, James Hall, Kim Burrell, Keith "Wonderboy" Johnson, Kirk Franklin, Dottie Peoples, Vickie Winans, Rance Allen and of course his music mentor, "The Godfather of Gospel", Rev. Timothy Wright.
Trying to find the right words to encompass Earl Jones Jr. is not that difficult once you've had a conversation with him. Singer? No. Songwriter? No, he is a psalmist penning music that touches the heart of God with an anointing to minister that same music to bless God's people.
Earl Jones Jr. has been singing since childhood in his still current home church First Calvary Baptist where his father and senior namesake is pastor.
What drives Earl Jones Jr. the most? Knowing first that God is pleased with his life and the use of his gift. His other motivation is to make his family proud. To Earl, family relationship is everything, but a relationship with God is paramount!
Earl, Trusting In, Relying On, and Adhering To God's Word (in the face of ADVERSITY [ie when the "World" and EVERYONE in it is urging you give up, cave in AND QUIT]), is NOT the EASIEST thing to do.....PERIOD.....however, it is ALWAYS the RIGHT thing.......THE BEST THING to do; and exhibiting PATIENCE BY holding on to the "Promise(s)" of God is a sign of WISDOM.
Through PRAYER, MEDITATION (and FASTING [when needed]), God willingly gives us our DIRECTION, then He achieves His purposes IN HIS OWN WAY, IN HIS OWN TIME OR TIMING.......We (as Believers) would be FOOLISH to let IMPATIENCE deny and rob us of God's PERFECT PLAN(S) for our life, Amen?!
The Bible says "Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing". (Jas.1:2-4 AMP.) Hmmmmmmmmm?!??
So I ENCOURAGE YOU, [and] REMIND ME to "Cast NOT anyway therefore YOUR/MY Confidence which has GREAT **RECOMPENSE of reward". (Heb.10:36)

Earl, BEFORE (we as Christians), can EFFECTIVELY move ahead for God & [WITH] God......we (as Believers) MUST be WILLING to take a "Time Out"; IT IS [MOST] VITAL & IMPORTANT for "US" to Put OURSELVES in "POSITION" to WITHDRAW (TO HIM, [the Fullness of the Godhead Bodily])..............so that we may "Receive from Him".
Since I have been "Walking out the Word of God" (PREACHING & TEACHING) to ALL who would "RECEIVE", Holy Ghost has revealed to me that the difference between SUCCESS and DEFEAT [FIRST] starts with "OUR" CONFESSIONS....it is NOT a Strategy (or a "Religious Ritual") but on the contrary, IT IS the POWER of the Holy Ghost working IN US & THROUGH US, Leading, Guiding and Teaching Us in "ALL" TRUTH, Amen somebody!
The [MORE] MEANINGFUL our times of "RETREAT" are, the more INTENSE our times of SPIRITUAL ADVANCES WILL BE, NOT "MIGHT" BE, BUT "WILL" BE, Amen!? IT IS the sum total of the Holy Ghost working both in us & through us....by us YIELDING to the POWER and AUTHORITY of Him.
The Bible says "But He Himself withdrew [into retirement] to the wilderness (desert) and prayed". (Lk.5:16 AMP.) Hmmmm?!??

Hello All is well...I pray all is well with you and your family also...You know I still read your comment every now and then keeps me encouraged..So many myspace friends have kept in contact even if its only once in a blue its still nice...but as for me I have been trying to pass this statistics test (online) for 2wks Im glad to say I had 46, 54, 69 now finally 87% after I recvd that I was like Im good wont take that test no more...look the tutor in the lab wasnt even able to help...ugh...but God sent help...and even if he didnt He is still God...Its been so long I forgot how to find the photos on myspace but then realized ur page doesnt accept them lol...So I went to the University I will be obtaining my Bachelors (Behavior Science)May 2011 then Masters in Heath Care Management...So I will be managing a facility maybe near YOU!!!
