Early Cash formed in early 2007 with four original members Dave Schmitt, David Janzen, and his two sons Dustyn Janzen, and Shayne Janzen. They got together to play Johnny Cash songs and drink some beers just for fun. Mid way through the year Shayne decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career of his own. No hard feelings were felt with the remaining three, but now they were looking to bigger and better things. So being a member down they decided they would call their good old friend Drew Truax to come play drums for them. Drew agreed to come out one Sunday and give it a try. Well needless to say the band became four again. Every Sunday these four best friends and family got together and practiced. There songs consist of Johnny Cash and Steve Earle. November 3 2007 they were invited to open for a local band by the name of Southwest Sound at a halloween party. The crowd loved them. After that show and the love they got from the crowd they were determined to learn more songs and hope for another show. Well practice payed off because Kingsville was having a fundraiser for a Skate Park they wanted to build, and Early Cash was requested to entertain at the event. Once again the crowd loved their performance. So that is where the story of Early Cash is at today.

Hey guys. I just wanted to stop by y'alls page and say that I hope everything is going well. It sucks that I'm having to miss all of the concerts this year but I'm sure that they are doing great. Take care and let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I miss all of ya.
Definately! I was not able to get the vids loaded on here tonight, but I will work on it tomorrow. I got most of them, if not all uploaded onto facebook. Yeah, they aren't the greatest, and aren't the full songs, but I tried my best. It was difficult to do when I'm so short and I had 3 kids to help watch lol. Thanks for the add though. I look forward to hearing more music from you guys soon. Maybe one day you all can play in Texas so my friends and family back home will have the opportunity to hear how great you all sound! Again, good job on Sunday night. It was a great turn out and you all sounded amazing!
