Sorry it took so long for me to see the same thing, i love you! my "FAMILY" who let the family colors be seen, Eric Eastridge for showing me how to do a spiral...look how far i've come & for dancing barefoot in the rain feeling fine on dandelion wine...you are partly to blame for who i am, my BFF, MR ROB COLE for just putting up with me and my down right REFUSAL to use my pinky, Agent Moonbeam (insert mission impossible music here) for all the great work, John Redell for seeing something I still haven't fully seen but i am trying to open my eyes, JessaPEAK for fixing my car and sharing the trash grass so freely...YOU ARE MY SISTER, RUMPKE MOUNTAIN BOYS for letting me shake my bones & smile like the sun was shinning in the middle of the darkness...i love you guys...oh and for letting me color your world, Eric Popp for being the twister champ for how ever many years now and to my Aunt Carole for feuling the artistic fire that burns now.
About me: I am a tie dye artist living & trying to work in Cincinnati, OH. I recently decided to follow my dream & become a FULL TIME ARTIST. I believe that IF I work hard & do everything I can to make it work that the Universe will bless me.
I make CUSTOM Dyes like I have never seen anywhere else. I think that everyone should see RAINBOWS. Tie Dyes are my way of making rainbows, which make me smile. And lets face it...if more people in the world were smiling there would be less WAR!
I've been tie dying for over 15 years. I've been coloring the stages of Cincinnati bands for 4 years. My rainbows are all over the world on the backs & walls of many of our brothers & sisters! For me, it's all about sharing my art!
I believe that every piece I make comes out EXACTLY as the Universe wants it to. I put the same amount of energy into everything I do. No 2 things ever come out exactly alike. I also feel like every work of art I make ALREADY has an owner. You know…Remember ‘that’ shirt you got at the beginning of tour? You wear it frequently, sometimes even go look for ‘that’ shirt to wear. Eventually it becomes just one of the shirts in your drawer. When you do put ‘that’ shirt on you feel that happy energy that you associated with ‘that’ shirt come back over you and you smile. I SELL ‘THAT’ SHIRT.
There are a lot of artists who make traditional (spiral) tie dyes and make beautiful rainbows. I put a lot of energy into NOT making ‘normal’ tie dyes. There are enough artists who can do that. What I want to do is create ONE OF A KIND, WEARABLE ART.
Hi Dawn! Hey! thanks for your kind comments. yeh its funny i hung this one on my wall after drying it out to see how it looked. It just kinda lit up my living room and seemed really happy where it was! lol.. so im gonna frame this one and keep it! kind wishes..

I know what you mean...my mojo takes a breeak now and then... not good when I am in the middle of something big..LOL...fun is what this is supposed to be about and I continue to remind myself of that.... I may have to try a shirt with the flloyd as I have had many requests.... looks like you will be busy with them as well
awesome...glad to see you are working and playing outside of your norm a bit.... will look forward to pics soon. I did up another batch of Random Dyes and some of them turned out pretty kewl... I will post pics later today.... well back to mixing more dyes... I seem to have a mountain of tyed and untied soda soaked WHITE clothes...YIKES!!!
Looking forward to seeing some new dyes in the next day or two because I know you have been busy tying and dyeing right??...LOL.... I have been busy tying stuff all day so now I am going to do some dyeing WOOHOO!!!
Ha Ha. I was just reading now that you posted a comment before Wang Dang Doodle. Obviously we didn't see each other there. Too bad. Kim and I were only out there for a couple hours on either side of our set time Saturday.
