"That, to me, is the city of Birmingham saying 'We're really sorry for giving you Duran Duran'... Brilliant; a trio of musical geniuses."
John Pierpoint - The Earthmovers/Dusk
"No one seems to sing like that these days... Great power, control and tone. The blend of guitars was spot on. An emotional kick."

"Today I was sitting on an airplane and your Wormwood Sessions came on my mp3... the distinctive voice and melody... thanks for bringing some peace (and a Smile!) to what was a bad travel day."
Will Blackwood - Thin Ice
"When you said you'd forayed into the world of folk writing, I was expecting more of a ''Twas on the 3rd day of July, the raven came and stole my eye' sort of thing. What we got conveys a great sense of loss, and is far more personal than I expected."
Thankful for Mice, the new Earth Calling Alice EP is now available! Send an e-mail to thankfulformice@yahoo.co.uk to receive the mp3s and artwork free of charge.

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
(please see my blog):
WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north,
From a place in Sydney to Cairns;
Then to Kuranda I went forth,
By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market,
With fresh fruits of tropical kind;
Walked to the creek through lush thicket -
Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe;
Then, outside, as I wrote for yen,
Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey,
You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know -
Assured voices, elderly men.
That’s now several years ago,
And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
