This is Freedom of Speech under!!!ATTACK!
Im interested in things interesting. But its pretty safe to say Im very interested in politics, and music. I play the djmebe and the dumbek. I want more hand drums. I have made beats and I write poems. I get into volunteering at times at places, though I need to make a better schedule of it. Im seriously intersted in a movement. Im interested in people, who make me laugh and understand why inside I always cry. Im interested in connection, but I dont try too hard with most. Its in my interests not to get deported, and a citizenship can help with that. Im interested in alot, the enviorment and the state of our economics. Im into nature and being free.
Music
Jazz, sweet jazz. Miles Davis, Herbie hancock, Django Reinhart and all the great ones you can find in New Orleans, Memphis, St. Louis. Dub Reggae, ooh reggae, my first love. Sometimes I wish I was born in Jamaica. But Latin Jazz is the fire of my soul. Funk, ungh! Get down Now! James Brown gets you hot. No doubt "The Band" knows how to funk your soul. Blues and how most of the greatest stories ever sung are written with Blues Ink. Bluegrass from apallachen mountains to "Yonder Mountains" incredibly beautiful ballads. Epic Rock. Zepplin will always be of the greatest. John Lennon. John Lennon. The Sex Pistols, and other assortments of rude political not always anarchist punk. I do love Nirvanna and how he was living in hell, I wish he wouldve seen how amazing he truly was. Call me cliche but Sublime is awesome, and Bradly will always be. And I have alot of Rage against the Machine. Hip Hop is something never to be missed. From KRS NWA Run DMC and man what Chuck D had to say. I have Tupac and Biggie in me, to beats so out ragous it makes you say "What!" "Alright!" "Ok!" I love little John, and I have to always love Wutang. Immortal techniques brutal lyrics always hit like full clip. But I will never forget the Roots. Mos Def Talib Kweli will always be Black Starr to me. Guru Premier being Gangstar hit with a "Moment of Truth" to me. Heiroglyphics and HiRuspects being so ill to me. I love hip hop, and the spoken word. The spoken word bein breathed by so many voices to heard, it hits the concious so hard makes your reality hit a curve and swerve your directions in this life. I love the Greatful Dead and the music of the 60's. I love hippies. Janice will always be a Queen to me. Joan Baez and Aretha Franklin. Will always be Queens to me. Jimmy Hendix is a guitar god, and my second hero next to Bob Marley being my first. As a writer I love Bob Dylan, he is so unpredictable the first few times you listen to him. Then later you feel you know his algorythem, when he oops switched the sentences. I will always respect his voice in those days, and what he did at that infamous folk festival. I thought that was crucial for people not to discriminate against electronic music, from more organic accoustic, to heavy synth electronic. Music is a Transcendence. I love Tripp Hop and Bands like Portis Head. Music is a fusion from the mind carried with the soul to the hearts of those with ears that feel. Music and its supernatural universe, is some of the most real stuff in this universe.
Movies
I love gangster films. Anime is amazing asn some of the best film work on the screen. Kung fu! Samurai flicks are raw. Brilliant social docuementaries that make you feel your heart, and grateful for the life we have. Intelectual movies that make you think. Im into comedy, but not as much as I should. Maybe i'll be a better comedian if I watch more funny movies. Music movies. I love Music Dvd'sand tapes. Live shows, good music video's. I love all the great films in history, or herstory.
Television
Docuementary junkie, right here. I watch the news, im young but im an oldie in my soul. Adult Swin is raw. Things to pass the time but I really should read more.
Books
Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. Shogun by James Clavell. I should get a subscription to popular science and Rolling Stone. High Times ;) National Geographic is awesome. I really should read more.
Heroes
Anyone and everyone who has died for there beleifs, as long as they are good beliefs. Thats up for debate. The great musicians of the past, the great poets, the great artists. My grandma and my mom. My aunt, even though we dont talk, is an inspiration to me. Mrs. Nowakowski, my 5th grade teacher will always be a heroe to me. All the teachers of my past who didnt give up on me... Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, John Lennon. Louie Armstrong and Miles Davis. Anyone and everyone who lives by there word, and walks the earth.
About me: Im an artist, freely able to express the depths of my soul. A crazy artist, because sometimes I express too much beyond my control. But id say im very down to earth, though my eyes are sometimes fixed upon the stars. Id say I worship the sun, and I believe in the moon, im very connected inside with being. But anyone who really knows me, knows that im anything but just normal. I love to love, I try to alot, and indeed I do. But if anyone who really knows me knows im very political too. That means I have a certain amount of rage, frustration and an understanding of history and the age were in right now. Im into living in the moment, I try to alot, and indeed I am, but I constantly think of the future the present and the past. I dont like being last, but I dont need to be first. There is something inside me that has an incredible thirst. And I love Knowledge. I believe im spiritual scientific metaphysic and intellectual. But when it all comes down to it. I give homage to living and being, this earth the moon the stars and the sun that im feeling.
Who I'd like to meet:
Those who care about life. Seriously, I appreciate celebrity. But really the kinds of clelebrities I dream of meeting, are the truly great ones. Martin King, Malcolm Shabazz, Jesus, Moses and Muhammed. Id love to meet the life plasm about 3 billion years ago supposedly. Id like to meet god, in whatever manifestation of whatever form. I would meet crazy artist similar in the way that no one can ever be them, and thats the way I would want someone to meet me.

It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.
I’d love to know what you’ve been up to since we disappeared into the dark damp studio cave, let us know how it’s going, I’m always up for a chat! May your thoughts be Scarlet and your actions Blonde ;-) Dawn xx Scarlet/blonde
