Earthman I was born in South London 1976. I have a keen interest in writing poetry and Hip Hop production. In my spare time I like to do Tai Chi. I first came up with the idea for earthhiphop.com while at collage studying music technology. The reason I made earthhiphop.com is to create a hip-hop community/movement to educate people on the business and spiritual side of hip hop and push my production to the next level by selling beats to the same community. In the future my aim is to know more about the music industry via earthhiphop.com, performing arts, music technology and staging live events. The Duke "The Duke" looks for the essence of live music; likes a lot of good music and wanted to produce a conscious, clean and coherent sound that’s not necessarily only about bling bling. I’ve been working with beats for most of my adult life, there’s a lot of good music out there and my energy for production has come from my participation in various music projects like playing at events, functions & parties. Lee’V/G3KBorn June in the late seventies in southwest London, Lee’V was surrounded by musical people from his mum and dad’s side of the family who were mainly into to reggae. Full of NRG and an active imagination there was noting that Lee’V thought he couldn’t do. With this attitude towards life even in danger, kids in his school started to call him Mad Lee’V. He soon realised he was different from the other kids. Growing up Lee’v listened to a lot of old skool hip hop but number one love was and always will be reggae and ragga which is embedded into his DNA. He would also listen to a variety of music which has today helped him to define his own style.
By his early teens Lee’V was in a Sound System called Stamina One as a MC “chatting” lyric’s he wrote to live crowds. In his mid teens he started up a new Sound System playing in the UK and Paris/France which manifested into a name called Hot-Shots which is still going strong today. The aim of Earthhiphop.com is to form an online hip hop company for those interested in Hip-Hop and the associated art form i.e. Rapping, Beat boxing, Break Dancing, Graffiti Art and Djing, via the internet and other resources. The aim of the website is to form a Hip-Hop community / promotion tool by letting people know what’s happening in the hip hop industry. The site will be the home of earthhiphop.com Production Company. The aim of the Earthhiphop.com production company is to make Hip Hop music for sale on the open market via our internet record shop (soon to come) and other sources. The purpose of the internet record shop is to sell merchandise, records, CDs, DVDs etc. The production company also offers services in mastering, vocal recording, sound engineering, and sound design for T.V., Radio and computer games. Another aspect of Earthhiphop.com is the tutorial service, which covers music production, self promotion and performing arts to name a few.
