New CRAC Formed

Starting later this month, The Earthquake Weather Project will set into place the California Research Awareness Corridor (CRAC), designating the 400-mile span between Los Angeles and San Francisco as the primary focus of future project awareness campaigns and concentrated research efforts. Given the time and manpower intensive requirements of this project, it has become necessary to narrow the focus in order to more accurately test and assess the validity of the ideas being examined. Stay tuned for further developments.

EarthquakeWeather.org Goes Live from San Francisco

At 5:12 a.m., we were among the crowd gathered around Lotta's Fountain (at the intersection of Market and Kearny) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and Fire. Using a laptop and wireless connection, we kicked off The Earthquake Weather Project by launching the website at the exact moment a 7.8 temblor tore through the city a century ago.

Novel Experiment Seeks to Establish Existence of Earthquake Weather to Pave Way for New Type of Earthquake Early Warning System (Click here to read)

How to Participate on MySpace

Anyone on MySpace can submit earthquake predictions without having to register. As on the website, participation in The Earthquake Weather Project is free and voluntary. Ideal candidates typically consider themselves to be "earthquake sensitives" who maintain a track record of infrequent predictions (on average, one forecast every several months to few years) but with accuracy well above the 50% range on the basis of timing. The creators of this project understand that a non-judgmental environment free of any liability for failed forecasts (or even successful ones) is vital. Rest assured that we won't hold anything against you, right or wrong. So, the next time you get that strange feeling in the pit of your stomach, go ahead and tell us... you might not be the only one!

STEP 1:

In the coming weeks and months, keep a watchful eye for any of the following conditions of interest:

(1) a certain something about the weather

Example: None. You'll just know it.

(2) pets behaving out of the norm

Example: Dogs that never bark except just before an earthquake.

(3) an increased tension and uneasiness amongst people

Example: Aggressive driving behavior appearing in greater frequency than usual.

(4) an ominous stillness in the air

Example: A dead silence as if time and everything suddenly froze.

STEP 2:

If you observe any of these conditions of interest, immediately note the following:

a) location of occurrence(s)

b) which occurrence(s) you are reporting (based on the numbers listed above)

Then, using the button below, send us a message with this information. That's all there is to it.

Who I'd like to meet:

Welcome to The Earthquake Weather Project. We've brought our idea to MySpace to tap into a vast network of over 100 million users who may hold the secret to earthquake forecasting in the future. Are you an earthquake sensitive? Do you know someone who is? Maybe you just think our idea is the greatest thing since sliced bread. If so, we'd love to hear from you. Click on the Add to Friends button below and take part in what is likely to become one of the most talked about experiments in recent history.

Today was proof that continued research is desperately needed in earthquake prediction. Even a warning of a few minutes could help save lives. Over 3, 000 dead already and now the volcano is starting to erupt. Anyone mocking your theories needs to look at what has happened in Indonesia today and in the last 18 months. Maybe there is no direct connection here, but it is definitely worth the research and I wish you all luck.

Actually, this is a very original idea.

Put science in popular culture. I like it alot.

Now what can we do with the rest of geology to make it much more well known.

*le sigh*

I am here for the rise up,
This is a two part posting, the first to my brother below the lucky13, and the second is how I can help.
Brother: All consciousness is an electrical impulse in some kind of brain. When an electron flows it creates an electromagnetic field (EMF), this electron of consciousness then flows through a nervous system of some kind which is a transduction network / antenna of these EMFs, both receiving and broadcasting. All living things produce, broadcast, and receive EMFs, like radio station channels. The next part to this, The earth is surrounded by an egg like EMF known as the GHIA, that is created by the balancing of all the EMF`s potentials(of all living things) on the earth. This is how we are all connected. Tesla proved IT by broadcasting electricity with almost no lost between two antennas miles appart, via closing the potential between the earth and the ionosphere for a circuit. The last part of this section is the earth itself and its electromagnetic lines of force (gravity) relative to its matrix. All of these are "subtle energies" the above three things are balancing their potentials to create all of these wonders of the earth, like earthquakes. The combination of these three things, in my opinion, proves that this project will work. The above can be taken very far to find many of the answers we are looking for. When physics gets you only so far, the evolution is metaphysics, that I am glad to see are being applied to this project. Everything that can be known, has been known, and is stored as EMF`s filling the cosmos. Most of your thoughts are not really your own, as we are antennas for EMF`s. Through our subtle energies we can find the answers.
Part two of this posting: I have 13 yrs of professional 12volt / acoustic experience, and have been working on related projects since. I will be in the redwoods mid-may. How can I help with this project?

Oh this stuff is great, Much Love,
Ben

As a structual geologist, there is absolutely no real data to link earthquakes to the anticipation or 6th sense of a person or animal. EQ's are deep subsurface movements caused by faults which make it very difficult to be detected at the surface by animals or people because the rates of strain on a fault are present at all times until the rupture of the fault.

I am highly skeptical until proven otherwise....
