Earthshaking Music has been redefining the neighborhood music store since 1994, when we began as a home-based mail order company with a small line of exotic percussion instruments and instructional materials. Having outgrown our house and a smaller retail space, in 1999 we moved into our 7000 square foot store in the East Atlanta Village and now offer the best in mainstream musical gear from guitars to drum sets, melodicas to fuzz pedals, lessons and as they say, more. Much more.
For example, In 2004, we began the Vivid Audio brand with the goal of offering a unified approach to ultra-fidelity HiFi gear: cables, vacuum tube electronics and high sensitivity loudspeakers, to the remaining small, but hardcore, two-channel audio market. As of this writing we have a complete line of Vivid cables constructed in-house with gold or silver wire and pure cotton insulation and our first production tube amp, the Vivid Chameleon. Visit Vivid Audio's website for more details. www.vividaudio.net
Late in the 2006, with the arrival of Professor Scott Trinh, we began Earthshaking Studios- a full service recording studio consisting of a 30' x 40" live room with a 15' high ceiling, a 15' x 25' control room and a 15' x 20' "B" room, both with 11' high sloping ceilings and complete acoustic treatment. We can provide "Beat based" production in Studio B and live tracking in all three rooms. We also have a variety of other interesting spaces for live recording available.
In conjuction with our studios, we also offer on-site consulting for YOUR home or project studio. We can assist with computer hardware and software issues as well as studio design and acoustics problem. Call us for more details and rates!
And, thanks to the prodigious talent and skill of Eric Belt, we can offer some of the finest (and fasted) guitar and amp service in the southeast. If you are having issues with your guitar or amp, come in and see Eric for straight advice and expert service!
When asked what differentiates Earthshaking Music from the rest, the easy answer is the staff- we've got great people and we're proud of our staff- they bring countless years of experience and knowledge to their jobs and they are what allow us to compete with the big boys. Thanks guys! (And Lisa)
