I dig Daniel Lanois, Bil VornDick, Mutt Lange (pre-shania), Bill Laswell, Les Claypool and other weird and twisted souls who turn knobs for enjoyment. I try to make you sound like you. I love echo...hate reverb. Love dry.....hate auto-tune. I'll run any instrument through any amplifier as long as it sounds cool. I'm slowly collecting an arsenal of creamy sounding under-the-radar mics. I use Pro Tools, but put a big fat rack of analog gear in front for just the right kind of sound.
