About me:
Since 1990, I have walked 47,000 km through 39 nations, planting trees and encouraging people to preserve the natural environment. Along the way I have delivered an environmental message to all aspects of society, from the jungles of the Amazon to the highlands of Zimbabwe, and even into war; when I walked to Sarajevo to plant a tree on Earthday 1995 during that city's three year siege. With the help of friends and supporters around the world, millions of trees have been planted. Through these efforts, I hope to inspire others to actions on behalf of the Earth. My greatest support comes from the people that I meet along the way, who feed and shelter me, thereby enabling me to keep on walking...
