We are an informal Women's Circle in the Tampa Bay Area that formed over 6 years ago in Clearwater, Florida.
Currently, we are a mixed group of crones, sages, witches and the curious that meet for circles in the East Pasco County and other Tampa Bay metro areas. We do have an inner circle or "coven" and we are learning about each other for a year and a day before we become public. We want to build our relationships based on TRUST. We are Witches, not Wiccans. We practice the Craft in a constant and evolving BLEND of the Reclaiming, Womanspirit, Green and other eclectic Traditions. We are not a large circle, just a few committed people that attend circles when we can. We keep our circles small as MAGICK seems to work better with fewer people and a more focused intent. We believe that working MAGICK together is the most important thing and that we can learn much by DOING! At other times when we cannot meet because of life's interruptions, we will set a time and a date and work MAGICK virtually.
WE MUST KNOW YOU IN PERSON FOR YOU TO ATTEND OUR CIRCLES! Sabbats are open and Esbats are by invite only. (Dark Moons are for WOMEN BORN WOMEN ONLY!)
At times we offer OPEN CLASSES to the public. In keeping with Reclaiming tradition we do not use the DEGREE system! The topics are varied and will include EARTH BASED SPIRITUALITY, SUSTAINABLE LIVING, DIVINATION, PERMACULTURE, HERBLORE, NATURAL CURES, and HEALING just to name a few and we teach these classes at different venues throughout the Tampa Bay area. Attending these classes does not commit you to anything nor does it make you a member of the Earthwater Glade Circle. The classes and workshops will be offered for nominal fees to cover the costs of printing the handouts, for supplies (if needed) or for the expenses needed if we have a guest speaker. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
***NOTE: We are not a part of Reclaiming's 501c3 organization in California and make no claims to be. However, some of our members have attended Witchcamps, Activist Training and Rituals with the founders of the Reclaiming Tradition or attended Political Actions with the Pagan Cluster. We support the Reclaiming Organization and the Pagan Cluster magickally.

OUR SECOND DESCRIPTION:
Earthwater Glade Teaching Circle is a loosely based circle of witches, wiccans, pagans, heathens, and the curious that was born at the Vernal Equinox in 2002. We all take leadership roles. We follow a blend of paths and traditions, but the closest we come to is a harmonious homogeny of Reclaiming, Green and Womanspirit. We have changed, morphed, ebbed and flowed with the best, to include, covens, circles, networking groups and the like, but here we remain and morphing yet again, circling together at magickal times and sometimes offering all sorts of classes and workshops that are open to those who want to learn and find themselves searching for the meaning of life, sustainable living, intentional community, personal spirituality. We try to keep our members local on our elist, as this gives our members many opportunities to develop REALTIME (not virtual) trusting communications and relationships with others that are like minded. No teaching takes place on our list. We also work to establish a network of community with those contacts who might not necessarily follow our spiritual path, but those locals who also give back to their community in a variety of different ways, sustainably, spiritually, and politically. Our members can be as involved as they want to be or occasionally attend our events, classes, rituals when they can, the choices are up to each individual. With everyone's time being taken up by conflicting work schedules, family commitments, driving time, logistics and stresses of everyday life, we find that this way works best for our members here in Tampa Bay.
We post our events on our calendars on our MySpace page and on our Yahoo elist. All classes and workshops are open to the public and require a small donation or nominal fee. Special guests and teachers that come in from other places might require a higher fee. However, no one is turned away for lack of funds. Our esbats and sabbats are by invitation only and we must know you in person before you can attend since most of these take place in our private dwellings.
