I dig making magic happen. I love to hike through cool forests and misty woods. The ocean feeds my soul - the expansiveness of it. I love it when a new thought rocks my world and breaks old patterns of thinking.
Music
ORDER NOW!
Live music is my absolute favorite. Concerts are of course awesome, but even better is kicking back listening to my friends play. The best I can manage is Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on my Yamaha flute. If it must be recorded I like Sarah McLaughlin, Train, Los Lobos, Grateful Dead, middle Eastern music, Mexican polkas and bolleros, Loreena McKennitt and other Celtic favorites, Carlos Santana, R. Carlos Nika, Tracy Chapman, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Doors, Van Morrison (Brown-Eyed Girl rocks), Dido, Jack Johnson, Norah Jones, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Natalie Merchant, Go-gos (sentimental favorites), Carly Simon, Peter Paul & Mary and other 60s folk singers, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Dave Matthews Band, Oingo Boingo, and the Fenians!
Anything that makes me laugh, cry, feel, think, or connects me with my reality. Okay, I'll be a little less vague. No particular order: Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, Steel Magnolias, La Bamba, Hook, Under the Tuscan Sun, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Like Water for Chocolate, Fairy Tale, Peter Pan, Fried Green Tomatos, Harry Potter: Prizoner of Azakaban, Field of Dreams, Grease, Good Will Hunting, Calendar Girls, A Year without a Santa Clause. I know there are more thought-provoking films I have loved, but they are escaping me now.
Television
I Love Lucy & Friends - that's it - TV rots the brain

I will not play at tug o'war
I'd rather pay at hug o'war
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

JAMIE MARTINEZ WOOD BIO
My current name is Jamie Dancing Butterfly Who Soars on the Wind y Martinez Wood. I received my name at a beautiful indigenous ceremony hosted by a member from my native tribe, the Tongva. I carry a strong belief and faith in the goodness inherent in the Universe. Twenty years of Christian Science Sunday school, a psychic Nana, and Catholic osmosis led me to Wicca. I've since found that magical realism is in my Latino heritage as well. I learned at an an early age to take responsibility for my health, be it physical, spiritual, mental or emotional. Everyday I create a life of my choosing, and most of them are happy.

HAPPINESS AS A BIRTHRIGHT
I can be as tenacious as a bulldog. So when I discovered the art of visualization in Christian Science Sunday School, many, many winters ago, I began years of dogged determination in holding onto the pictures of my dreams. I was taught you could imagine yourself to wellness by holding a thought or picture of yourself as a pure perfect child of the Father/Mother God. So I applied this theory to all things thereafter: grades, being a soccer stud, being a cheerleader, graduating from college, getting a job, becoming a published writer.

Earth Mother calls to her children to bring healing to their lives. By healing ourselves we will, in turn, begin to heal Her and our fellow brothers and sisters. Look within yourself to find the answers to your happiness. Know that you have everything you will ever need right inside you. Look to the beauty of a drop of dew on a spider's web or the trusting flight of a bird and know that you are divinely protected and guarded at all times. Invoke magick by believing in your power to create all that you can dream of and more.
Trust in yourself and believe in the love our Earth Mother holds for us. She who cradles her babes in the womb of her ocean belly, in the arms of her gnarled oak trees, with her sweet wind breath and the fire that sparks life and passion. Trust in each other. Know what answers you cannot find for yourself are available whenever you reach out to your sisters and brothers. We are all related. When we help one we help us.

Hi - Hope you're having a good day! I have another helpful makeup tip for you:
PROPER LIGHTING FOR APPLYING YOUR MAKEUP...
How is the lighting where you apply your makeup? Are you applying your makeup in a bathroom or bedroom with one bright light above your head? Is that one overhead light casting some pretty bad shadows on your facial features, making it difficult for you to judge how much color to apply to your eyes, lips and cheeks...to read more, click here: http://www.qdazzlemakeup.com/blog/2009/03/24/proper-lighting-for-applying-your-makeup/

Blessings of Love & Light to you my friend, I was wondering if you will be at Pagan Pride in San Diego this September, my son and I met you and attended your teaching session, would love to see you again. If you have time please comment back about Pagan Pride. Blessed Be my dear! ~~Lily
I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Now we’re going through an uncertain future with JJ as he remains in ICU at the animal hospital. Hopefully everything will be fine and back to normal soon. Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend.
Hello, Merry Meet Jamie, Thxs for adding me! I've seen you on some of my other MySpace friends on here such as The Village Witch, Karina, as well as I saw your books at Tree of Life store. Anyways...I wish you the best & hope all is well! Love, Light, & Blessed Be Jules
