Rose Conner, aka: HoneyRose (rippin soulful singing, and rhythm guitar),
Steve Guerrero (smackin' them skins), Mark Harris (lead guitar), Mark Chole (laying down the funk on bass), and Bob McBain (on da keys).
>>>>>>>>You may find me performing my original rock/blues/funk with my band HONEYROSE AND THE BRIDGE BROS or you might see me just playing a few tunes solo-acoustic style in a cafe.
Anybody and everybody I have EVER heard. Any and all music in my life is "influencing" in one way or another. Soul, funk, reaggae, hip-hop, opera, classical, african, indian, tribal, whatever..... Music is influencial no matter what.

Many people tell me "you sound like Janis". However, that is a complement that I am too humble to accept.
HoneyRose & The Bridge Bros.
From curbsides to the Sistine Chapel, HoneyRose has captivated audiences from all over the world. With her raw emotions exposed, she has been able to develop her unique lyrical style - both brutally honest, yet sensually sensitive to circumstance.
Being backed by the Bridge Bros has certainly opened up the avenues that have lead HoneyRose (often compared to Janis Joplin) down a path seemingly unaccomplishable while being a solo artist the first five years of her, nowhere near over, musical career. The Bridge Bros - comprised of members that have played with musicians such as Slash, Eddie Van Halen, Jessie Collin Young, and Erik Martin, have recognized HoneyRose’s raw talent and added the depth to her sound that you hear today.
With the perfect infusion of blues, rock, and funk, HoneyRose brings you her unmistakable soulful singing. It is evident, in more ways than one, that she is coming from her heart, mind, but mostly soul, while performing songs that obviously stem from an emotional attachment to personal experience. To hear her in person is more than can be put on paper.
“HoneyRose is a total original. Some people compare her to other singers (like Janis Joplin), but if you listen to her and her lyrics, she is very unique and has a soul and style all her own. Her voice has major power.”
