Brooklyn, NY – Power rock poppers East 146 fermented in the same earth and water as the best bourbon in the world; they're Kentucky bred. What do you do when you live with (849) people in the seat of Henry County Kentucky, with an explosive sound of swirling guitar pop, choruses dripping with sugar and a rhythm section that adds drama to the rock? They heard "Go West young man"; they went east to Manhattan instead.
From the hills of Kentucky to the shores of LA, through the Midwest, down South and up East; they've been there. From farmland to a Texas back yard, a mansion in Hollywood, the ghetto, a Walmart parking lot and Sunset Park; they've slept there. The muse and his muse. Their music drips with drama and a talent pushing the limits. Their lyrics tell the story in a new way about life (the 20-something dreamer who needs a believer), love (close your eyes and count to 10, crack a smile and open them, I am so into you) and death (I hope that you will wake up to say good-gye). It's the same old story told in a whole new way.
An indie release on Cherry Pop Records, a performance in front of a nationally televised audience and 250,000 people in attendance found them heading out on an East Coast tour, moving 750 miles a way, having team members come and go in the revolving door that has been their life and now they are pressing repeat. The trenches gave them an undeniable resolve and certainly didn't put them out.
It's back to basics for the fearsome two-some. While they're at it, they are coming to see you. Check the tour dates, come say hello and stay awhile to rock out. It all starts March 6th!
