Greg Adams was recently quoted in an interview:
"You try to reinvent yourself every time you do a new project, to do something a little different and hopefully learn from the last project and grow. So we looked back at what some might say is my rich tapestry of experience in the music industry. With my funk and R&B background with Tower of Power and the influence it's had over my sound and the sound that I gave to TOP through those 25 years I was in the band.
Taking that sound and bringing it into 2008 creating an all new "Metro Jazz", really a new approach of a melting pot of contemporary urban rhythm and sound and combining all the sounds from the city. The ethnic sounds of the trials of tribulations, the hard fought, the victories, sweetness and sadness. It comes through in the music in all forms. It's world, it's metro, it's edgy, it's urban. It's East Bay. It's got Soul!"

Hey Greg!! Thanks for the friendship!! I love your style of music and just happened to come across you guys through Lee playing with Chicago! Really cool...;-)
I don't blame ya' for not wanting to sell those vinyl's!! I can only IMAGINE what collection you have!!
Hi, thanks for the add. I saw Lee at three Florida Chicago shows sitting in for Lee Loughnane this past month. Lee really caught my attention those three nights. He was spot on with the trumpet solos, I really enjoyed hearing him play. :) Hope to see you all if you ever come to SW Florida. Cheers, Janet

Hey Michael Paulo, can you bring EBS to Hawaii? We could surely use some funk to the awesome list of musicians you have already brought to Hawaii on the Smooth Jazz Nights. Mahalo to Greg Adams.
Nice to hear from you, and Happy Holidays to you! I'll be relocating to the Phoenix area in about 12 days, so it should be easier to hear y'all more often in the future. Peace, George
