"You try to reinvent yourself every time you do a new project, to do something a little different and hopefully learn from the last project and grow. So we looked back at what some might say is my rich tapestry of experience in the music industry. With my funk and R&B background with Tower of Power and the influence it's had over my sound and the sound that I gave to TOP through those 25 years I was in the band.
Taking that sound and bringing it into 2008 creating an all new "Metro Jazz", really a new approach of a melting pot of contemporary urban rhythm and sound and combining all the sounds from the city. The ethnic sounds of the trials of tribulations, the hard fought, the victories, sweetness and sadness. It comes through in the music in all forms. It's world, it's metro, it's edgy, it's urban. It's East Bay. It's got Soul!"

Let me congratulate you on your wonderful album! It took me 3 listening sessions to absorb the material but it is really great. Cool in a very relaxed, effortless way. No muscle, no sweat - just fine compositions and musicianship. And even with the laid-back feel, the music has the power of a V8 engine. Exceptional. Best wishes to all of you, Zoltan
