1996 landmarks East Coast Empire's debut release “From This Day Forward” by Connecticut hardcore heavyweights Sum Of All Fears. With it's instant success David Duncan, the label's founder and owner, set forth making ECER an icon in the hardcore and metal scene.
After releasing music from such bands as Integrity, Chimaira, Darkest Hour, Cannae, Reach The Sky, Hatebreed and 100 Demons to name a few, East Coast Empire was now a legend in the making. Taking a small hiatus seemed to pear well for ECER giving David the time and attention he needed to bring this effort into a new direction.
As for 2008, East Coast Empire is looking to bring a larger variety of music to it's loyal following. Keep a look out for some new releases hitting the shelves soon.
