About me:
East End Boarding Kennel
Located in Westhampton at 49 Tanners Neck Lane, East End Boarding Kennel is THE destination for your dog while you are out and about, gone on vacation or staying here in the Hamptons. Sociable dogs with like personalities, temperments and energy levels are set up in play groups and brought out in our 1/4 acre grass fenced in yard to play tennis ball and to romp in the puppy pools. Everyone has their own private run to sleep in at night and during our "nap time." Families can occupy the same run! We feed twice a day and supply Wellness in three flavors or your dog can bring its food from home. For more information and to make a reservation please call 631-288-7292. We require your dog to be up to date on his or her vaccinations (kennel cough, rabies and distemper/parvo) and you can forward the records to our fax line 631-288-2327.
Live like a dog...not a bad idea
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
When loved ones come home, always run t o greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Be always grateful for each new day.
