FALL 2007 SEMESTER IS HERE!
Greetings from the Eagle Filmmakers Association (EFA)!
The first general meeting of the EFA is this coming Monday (Sep. 10th)
from 4-5PM in room 104 of the Student Center. The purpose is to lay
out some groundwork for the semester and discuss upcoming
activities/events/films, so if you're wondering if the EFA is for
you-- come and check it out.
Whether you're planning to get into the world of Film, or want to know
what's going on with EMU's film culture--or maybe you're hoping to
discuss/watch movies?-- we'll see you there!
EFA meeting times for this semester:
Mondays (4-5PM):
9/10 [SC Room 104]
10/8 [SC Room 204; yep, 204]
11/5 [SC Room 104]
12/3 [SC Room 104]
Sundays (noon-2PM):
9/23, 10/21, 11/18, 12/16, tentatively scheduled for [Student Center room 204].
EMU Film Festival’s vision is to raise the bar of expertise
and creativity at Eastern by developing a forum where students can display
their talents to their peers and the community. Our mission is to encourage and promote Eastern Michigan
University and the College of Arts and Sciences by:
- Showcasing and promoting
the work of student film and video makers and film artists to the
University and local community audiences.
- Encouraging students to
become better video and film artists by acknowledging personal
achievement.
- Energizing future students by
showing them what our school has to offer.
- Strengthening ties with the local
business community.
