Here comes the Sun Yoga Aid 108 Sun Salutations This class is based on Amiee Constantopoulos’s journey to India where she joined a group of over 250 people in union to complete 108 sponsored Sun Salutations raising money for children in need at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram, the host of the 2009 International Yoga Festival, Rishikesh, India.
ENMU student teachers will be given the opportunity to share their teaching skills by teaching some of their favorite postures and leading others through Surya Namaskar. The physical base of the practice links together twelve asanas or postures in a dynamically performed series. These asanas are ordered so that they alternately stretch the spine backwards and forwards. When performed in the usual way, each asana is moved into with alternate inhalation and exhalation

September is National Yoga Awareness Month.
I have been making my plans early in order to spread the word to all. I will be hosting a teacher training the last weekend of September (additional info in my blog or check out yogafit.com). I will also be hosting some free classes and other events and sharing many other styles of yoga with the community. I have been trained in a variety of styles and have practiced with world masters in Rishikesh, India. Where, I plan on returning this year with a hand full of my closest students.

Come celebrate and join Amiee Constantopoulos and other talented instructors from around the area for free classes including Yoga, Reiki (energy healing), fire dancing (with glow), sand mandala meditation, nature art, nature meditation, and other events during the month of September.I will be sharing my knowledge of variety of styles of Yoga including Vinyasa, Classical Hatha, Hatha Flow, and much more. I have been trained in a variety of styles and have practiced with world masters in Rishikesh, India and I have been studying Vinyasa in California every summer for the past 7yrs.Events will be happening on September 12 and 19 from10am-7pm and will conclude with a YogaFit teacher training on Sept26-27 (preregistration required)
