The band is a hybrid mix of germans and americans who have been writing songs and recording in Hamburg since 1996. Their musical influences and resulting sound range from, rock, blues, folk, country and punk, with lyrics dealing with themes such as; lost love, cars, geography, and saving the world from the human race. As a live band Eastern Rain has played Hamburg in the Cotton Club, Knust, Logo, Weltbuehne, dieMotte, May Day and Berlin for the american armed forces annual 4th of July picnic with Tony Sheriden who one of our drummers had the honor of sleeping with in a drunken stuper...hey shit happens...
