   About Eastfield
Eastfield have been back into Jigsaw studio to record songs for a split cd with Destructors 666. Released 28th April 2008. Our part of the split features 2 new Eastfield songs: 'Money' and 'Jumping Under Someone Else's Train', plus 2 cover versions: Divine's 'Shake it Up' and Tom Robinson's 'Glad to be Gay'. Homophobia still abounds in all aspects of the music industry, so we thought it would be a fitting idea to get our friend H to update the lyrics and sing lead vocals on the track. Tom Robinson has been supportive of the idea and use of his song. Destructors 666 will continue their fine tradition of recording one old song, a cover and a new track...something old, something borrowed and something new. I guess our version of 'Shake it Up' - a hi-energy club classic from the 1980's can form the something blue part.

New EASTFIELD CD now available........LOADHAUL TO LHASA....... 38 minutes of the same 3 chords but in a different way - contains normal Eastfield, acoustic and altered state transit mixes of of 'Rugeley Crimestoppers', 'Train to the Top of the World' and 'Class 20's of the Apocalypse'. £5, $10, E10

Also available double CD............URBAN RAIL PUNK.......... Due to the early albums selling out and the others running low, we wanted to make the songs continually available. This is a definitive collection of more or less every eastfield song recorded and released between 1997-2005 on one double cd. Contains all tracks on 'Keep it Spikey', 'Fanaticos para Trenes', 'Roverbrain', 'One Wrong can move a People and a Wronged People can move the World' and 'Express Train to Doomsville' plus alternative versions of songs that appeared on various compilations at the time. Running time is 143 minutes, which isn't bad for the same 3 chords. £10 $15, E15 Please send orders to: EASTFIELD, c/o THE BASEMENT, 78A PENNY STREET, LANCASTER LA1 1XN. U.K. cheques (uk only) payable to 'A. Adams'. For other releases, t-shirts etc please go to www.eastfieldrailpunk.co.uk UK PUNKS VOLUME 1 COMPILATION

LAST GANG IN TOWN presents…

NEW TOWN KINGS - Back by popular demand this 9 piece bring their infectious and energetic brand of 2Tone, ska, reggae and dub back for a triumphant return to the Man on the Moon. Since releasing their debut album “Sound Of The New Town” on Do The Dog records the band have had gig and festival crowds across the UK begging for more. With a new studio recording in the pipeline, the future promises to be bright for the New Town Kings. http://www.myspace.com/newtownkings

RESOLUTION 242 - Their debut CD out on Do the Dog Records has had some great reviews and secured them airplay on Radio One’s “The Lock Up”. Resolution 242 have shared the stage with the likes of Inner Terrestrials and King Blues and played the Rebellion Festival in 2009. They sound great and they’ve got plenty say. They don’t claim to have the answers, but aim to raise awareness about important issues that they think need attention and debate, in the only medium they can… music…so get involved and enjoy! http://www.myspace.com/resolution242

CAPTAIN BLACK NO STARS - This Norfolk reggae collective have come a long way in short time, gaining fans across the region with their unique sound inspired by both the Trojan / 2Tone sounds and UK Punk rock. They bring the early Clash forays into Jamaican music to mind but with a contemporary slant. They kick off proceedings as the first of 3 Do The Dog bands that will have you skanking all night!http://www.myspace.com/captainblacknostars
