Meshuggy is 3 years old next Monday, 8th December in KOROVA. To celebrate we are putting on a show with drumming legend Zach Hill from Hella and other cult U.S bands. He is playing 5 select dates in the UK for his new solo album Necromancer. We also have four local bands who will be playing 20 minute sets before Zach goes on stage. These include Avenging Force, Indica Ritual, Eastfifefourforfarfive and Eighth Day Army. 8pm Doors.
For anyone who comes to the birthday show we will be giving out free posters from the last 3 years of gigs. There will be colour and black and white prints from the likes of Battles, Nina Nastasia, Trans Am, Deerhoof, Marnie Stern, Fuck Buttons, Polysics SSS, Blood Red Shoes, Dananananaykroyd, Grabba Grabba Tape, That Fucking Tank, Woman and some old favourites.
chris we really should do a gig together! i'm moving to manchester soon so it'll be even easier for me to get to liverpool to play a gig. chrik haven't played liverpool yet! get on at (chrik)chris, you probably see him more than i do now. once i'm settled in manc i could book us one here too. rik
