Hey everyone. We have some good news and some bad news... Bad always goes first- due to changes at the rink, we unfortunately have no choice but to disband the Crushbunnies... However, the good news is- we are joining forces with the Skyland Rollergirls (http://skylandrollergirls.com! So, come see your favorite bunnies in Hackettsown! Thank you to all of you who have supported us along the way! To the teams- Lehigh Valley, Coal City, Man's Ruin, and Skyland... thank you for letting us come and skate with you ladies (and gentlemen) and we hope we will be seeing more of you in the future! To the fans, volunteers, re-tired skaters, and family- you who have cheered, groaned, stomped, and gave countless hours of your precious time... we couldn't have lasted as long as we did without you and wouldn't be able to go on if you were never there! You are welcome to come see us on Sunday Nights from 6:30 till 9:00 & Tuesday Nights 7:30 to 10:00
East Penn's CrushBunnies formed on independence day... 4th of July of 2008. The core members also make up most of East Penn's Board of Directors. Their skating philosophy is easy - concentrate on skating, work at practice until your legs are numb, every practice we take derby seriously and we all love and enjoy it.
"We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing-grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender!"
The CrushBunnies have practiced with Coal City, Man's Ruin and Lehigh Valley. We have had members of those teams and others skate with us on Sundays. All teams are invited to join us at our rink in Matamoras every Sunday!
Want to get close to the action? Currently putting together our marketing campaign and accepting applications for skaters, officials, cheerleaders and volunteers to help in operations.
