East Village Radio issued its first broadcast in the summer of 2003 on 88.1 FM radio in New York City. Four months later the FCC "asked" us to stop. So we got a street level storefront, converted it into a studio and now we’re streaming free, live, 24/7 music and other stuff at EastVillageRadio.com.
