Jeff Webb created a new musical ensemble called "Damascus Steel" which features
Jeff Webb on doumbek/derbekke as well as many other percussion instruments, Jon Hanley on oud, bouzouki, guitar, sarod and sitar, Chrystine on bass doumbek/derbekke and other percussion instruments and Sarah Caesar on bass guitar. We will also have many other guest musicians performing with us. We specialize in playing Belly Dance music that has a distinctly Arabic flavor yet very much a heavy fusion with jazz and rock and roll. Eastwinds Tribal Drumming was founded over a decade ago by Casey Bond and Jeff Webb and has played venues for belly dance all over the Northeast US. Casey has stepped back from performing with Eastwinds but remains a good friend of Jeff.
Jeff Webb continues to perform in clubs and on stage either solo or with other musicians and still with an interest in Middle-Eastern and some Middle-Eastern/Fusion music geared towards belly dance.
