We are all made from the fertile death of a star; the carbon in our body, the iron in our blood all come from the stars. To meet new people is to meet old friends from long ago
Our relationship to others, especially people we don't know can teach us about ourselves. Each person is a microcosm, a system of functions and life more complex and expansive than the cosmos. I enjoy exploring what makes a person tick. In sharing we become more than ourselves, and once we become more than ourselves we cannot die.
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22)
“Our love must not be a thing of words and fine talk. It must be a thing of action and sincerity (1 John 3:18).”
“Kindness is a mark of faith: and whoever hath not kindness hath not faith.” -Muhammad
The everyday practice is simply to develop a complete acceptance and openness to all situations and emotions, and to all people, experiencing everything totally without mental reservations and blockages, so that one never withdraws or centralizes onto oneself.
