easyCruise.com is one of the latest ventures launched by Stelios, the serial entrepreneur and chairman of the easyGroup. In 1995, Stelios founded easyJet, Europe's leading low cost airline.
Since May 2005 we have been offering a unique holiday experience to independently minded travellers from across the globe. From our base in Athens, Greece we have been operating our first ship "easyCruiseOne" in the Greek islands in 2007, cruising to chic resorts and some islands which are off the usual tourist trail. During the autumn and spring you can take a 7 day tour of Classical Greece onboard "easyCruiseOne".
From April 2008, the second ship "easyCruise Life" with begin cruising to the Aegean Islands and Turkey, calling in Bodrum every Monday and allowing people to join a 7 day cruise from Turkey or Greece. Meanwhile "easyCruiseOne" will offer a 4 day long weekend to the Cyclades and 9, 10 and 11 day cruises through the Corinth Canal to the Ionian Sea.
Unlike traditional cruising, easyCruise sails for just a few hours each morning arriving at each destination at around lunchtime so that you can enjoy the rest of the day and evening (until the early hours) having fun ashore and enjoying each destination to the full.
easyCruise ships feature restaurants and bars with a la carte dining offering fusion cuisine as well as a spa. Designed to appeal to younger customers than traditional cruise, the concept already has many loyal fans of all ages and nationalities that come back to easyCruise to experience a new itinerary every year.
The cabins are minimalist in design and there is something from everyone - from the most economical option which is four people sharing a quad inside cabin to suites which are more than 20 square meters and compare in comfort to any 4 star hotel on land. All cabins are made up with fresh linen and towels on arrival and have private bathroom with shower.
Like easyJet, the prices vary according to demand and they generally rise as the ship fills up so to get the best price book early. Online prices are for the cruise on a room only basis. Meals, drinks, spa treatments, tours and housekeeping services can be purchased onboard. You will need to make your own travel arrangements to get to and from the ship.
