Easy Silence is a band from Finland that plays acoustic-based music, focused on the principle "Less is more". Stripped-down arrangements, honest lyrics and catchy melodies are the founding elements of Easy Silence's music.
The songs on this page are from our first demo-EP "Old Wounds", which was recorded in two days in the beginning of November 2006 with songwriter Joonas Savolainen on vocals & acoustic guitar, Jyri Salmi on drums and Pasi Nopanen on bass.
In September 2007 a new bass player Kapa Karila joined the band, and Jan Fagernäs joined the band on background vocals and guitar. So the band has evolved, but our focus will still be on melodic acoustic-based music.
