Movies
Anything that smacks of girl power: Kill Bill, Resident Evil, La Femme Nikita, Alien, Serenity, Gorillas in the Mist, Lara Croft, T2, Underworld, Long Kiss Goodnight, The Matrix, A League of Their Own. Oh, and The Benchwarmers was surprisingly good.
Television
The X-Files, Alias (pre-SD6 smackdown only), Firefly (we hardly knew ye!), The Colbert Report, Lost, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, CSI, Xena, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Office, South Park, Family Guy, Reno 911, Dog Bites Man, Da Ali G Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Freaks and Geeks, My So-Called Life, Dateline's To Catch a Predator series.

Nonfiction, mostly. See: Interests. In terms of leisure reading, mainly Stephen King, John Saul and Jean Auel.
To be perfectly honest, I only created a MySpace account so that I could view my little bro's pics. (Great scam ya got going there, "Tom"). No offense, but you MySpace whippersnappers have absolutely zero aesthetics or graphic design abilities to speak of.
They say 100 million users can't be wrong. Well, can't they? Regardless of how popular MySpace is or how many bands, web celebs or stalkers it continues to empower and enable, the social networking site is about as pleasant to look at as last week's cat vomit. The user interface is clunky and counterintuitive. Advertising is ubiquitous and invasive. The garish backgrounds and animated images seem sucked from some terrible time portal that leads straight to the nascent web of 1995. Oh, and auto-launching audio widgets and video players? Don't get me started.
