A review is out in MRR in the August 2009 issue and it is really good. It reads
Or here is the text version:
A well paced record that displays a relentless, not-so-friendly buzzsaw guitar distortion as well as a helathy breadth of hardcore range. From song to song - and even riff to riff - EATING GLASS really held my attention, employing tempo changes with ferocity to develop great songs and a solid sound. They nicely merge chop beats and youth crew flair into punk-as-fuck territory as they confidently stagger across seven inches of tourquoise vinyl hardcore. they thank Chris Colohon on the insert and I would not be shocked if the SWARM was on heavy rotation during these guys formative approach to this band / release. Not to say this is anywhere near the debilitating quality the SWARM exemplified in their day, but it's a good record and the kind I like to see on No Idea. Var has a knack for good music, and heavier /hardcore records tend to be gems in my book. (RM)
